Over the past several months, her financial troubles have been under the spotlight with the star narrowly avoiding bankruptcy late last year.
But Katie Price, 40, showed she still has an appreciation for the finer things in life on Monday, as she was spotted shopping at Kent’s Bluewater Shopping Centre while wearing a pair of £500 trainers.
The former glamour model’s outing came as her estranged husband Kieran Hayler, 31, accused her of telling their two children that he’s a ‘d**khead’ in a new interview.
On Monday, mother-of-five Katie stepped out in a grey tracksuit under a matching fur jacket — but it was her pricey Valentino Rockerunner shoes that took centre-stage during her outing with a friend.
The pink-and-grey footwear complemented her ensemble, which was rounded by with a pair of oversized sunglasses and several inches of glossy brown hair extensions.
Her casual outing came as her ex Kieran claimed he had been left ‘hurt’ by his kids repeating cruel comments allegedly made by their mother Katie.
Former stripper Kieran split from the Loose Women star in December 2017 after four years of marriage and said their two kids Jett, five, and Bunny, four, often repeat the unkind comments they’ve overheard their mother say about him.
He told new! magazine: ‘I just don’t want everything to be a drama. Not one part of me wants to fight. I don’t want the kids to come home telling me, “Mummy hates me.”
‘Kate says a lot of things in front of the kids that they repeat and a lot of it is not very nice, let’s put it this way. Jett came home once and said, “Mummy says you’re a d**khead.” I think everything she does now is to hurt me.’
Kieran, who is now in a relationship with Michelle Pentecost, is thankful Katie’s first husband, Peter Andre, has encouraged him to maintain a relationship with their children Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, but he thinks the situation is now too difficult.
He said: ‘I’ve spoken to Pete since the split and he was very keen for me to stay in contact with them, but there’s a lot going on with Pete and Kate at the moment, and I don’t want to be involved in all that. But it does sadden me. I was in their lives for five years and I still want to talk to them as much as I can.’
Kieran’s interview comes as it was revealed that Katie had to remove her hot pink Barbie Suzuki jeep from eBay after the car dealer she was selling the car through was inundated with abusive messages from online trolls.
The listing was pulled from the site despite interest from prospective buyers, with bids made of more than £66,000.
A source told The Mirror: ‘We had to remove it because of all the calls and messages we had been getting. It’s still not sold.’
Katie took to Instagram on Wednesday to promote her 2002 model car, just months after she narrowly avoiding bankruptcy. The bidding, which started at £500, was due to end on January 25. bandarq
In a candid admission, the mother-of-five captioned the image: ‘Soo now I’m banned from driving the cars are going this one is on eBay 254073076749 when I get my license back new car fresh start.’ [sic]
The advert, which had received over 100 bids, revealed the manual car’s soft top requires replacement and its MOT has expired.
With a mileage of 97,000, Katie’s Suzuki Vitara has had three previous owners, excluding the reality star.
The pink vehicle, which she originally put up on the site for £595, has been tailored to the I’m A Celeb star’s taste as it boasts Barbie-style printing throughout, and features rusty grey interior.
She infuriated a local car valet after he claimed she duped him out of paying for work with the offer of publicity.
Robbie Orlando from Valet Magic in Camberley, Surrey, spoke to The Sun about his alleged woes.
His claims state that when his company styled her jeep, she vowed to include footage in her Quest Red reality show Katie Price: My Crazy Life although the scenes never hit screens.
In November, Katie was said to have contacted the wrap company Valet Magic herself, with sources adding she was ‘good as gold.’
Valet themselves posted a snap of Katie’s transformed car to their Instagram along with a matching Barbie key ring. The caption read: ‘When your asked to build a Barbie jeep by @officialkatieprice. Was a laugh delivering it.’
Despite this, relations appear to have turned sour as Robbie claimed: ‘The whole thing leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I feel like I have been duped…
‘She owes us about £3,500 and is refusing to answer my calls about it, so I have no choice but to take her to court.’
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Katie, Quest Red and Valet Magic for comment.
Meanwhile, Katie was given a driving ban earlier this month, after admitting mistakenly getting behind the wheel before her first disqualification period ended.
The brunette is raising money after narrowly avoiding bankruptcy last year, as she told a court she was unable to immediately pay a fine for her driving ban.
Celebrity Big Brother star Katie was handed the three-month disqualification and ordered to pay a total of £1,295 – including the fine and costs – when she appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court.
Katie was summonsed to answer charges of driving while disqualified and without insurance after she was spotted driving a Ford Fiesta on the A24 near her West Sussex home on July 25 at 8pm – while a six-month driving ban was still in place.
The star, who is the mother of Harvey, 16, Junior, 13, Princess, 11, Jett, five, and Bunny, four, was originally banned from driving for six months in February last year.

Katie’s case was heard at a specialist insolvency and companies court in Central London, which estimated her total debts ranged from £250,000 to £500,000.
She was not at the court for the hearing, which lasted less than two minutes.
